Getting into a Bachelor of Pharmacy course really comes down to the marks you scored in your 12th grade. Most universities in India ask general category students for at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Math. If you’ve got 48%, you’re a bit short of that line, so you can’t get straight into most Bachelor of Pharmacy programs through the regular route.
But that’s not the end of the road. Some universities or private colleges sometimes relax their rules a little. They might have management quota seats or their own admission policies that let students in with slightly lower marks. It’s worth checking those out.
Another option—think about related fields. You could go for a diploma in pharmacy or another allied health course. These usually don’t have such strict percentage requirements, and after finishing a diploma, you can often move on to a full degree later.
Don’t forget entrance exams. Some colleges care more about your entrance test score than your board marks. If you do well in one of those, you might get in even if your 12th grade percentage isn’t high enough.
So, with 48%, you won’t get direct admission into most standard Bachelor of Pharmacy programs as a general student. But if you’re open to alternatives, like diplomas, different colleges, or entrance exams, you’ve still got a shot. Just takes a bit of digging and flexibility.

Each state handles the NMMS exam application on its own, so you won’t find a single link for everyone. Instead, head over to your own state’s education board website—that’s where you’ll see the latest notification, the application form, and all the instructions you need. Schools usually get the official notice too, and most of the time, teachers walk students through the process. If applications are open where you live, your school will let you know what to do and how to do it. Still, the best way to get the right application form? Check your state education department’s website or just ask at your school. That way, you won’t miss anything.

Hope it helps.
If you're aiming for the International English Olympiad in 2025–2026, here's what you need to know about the cutoffs. The score you need depends on your class. For kids in Class 1 or 2, you’re looking at around 50 out of 100. Classes 3 to 5 usually need about 55, and for Classes 6 to 8, it jumps to around 60. If you’re in Class 9 or 10, expect the cutoff to be close to 65.
These numbers aren’t set in stone—each year, the cutoff shifts a bit, depending on how tough the exam is and how everyone else does. After the exams, schools go through the papers and then announce the final cutoffs for who moves on to the next round, whether that’s regional or international.
If you want to make it through, you have to clear these marks. So, don’t just rely on luck. Practice often, sharpen your grammar, work on comprehension, and build up your vocabulary. The better you get at these, the easier it is to score above the cutoff. The competition keeps things unpredictable, but solid prep always pays off.
RRB JE recruitment accepts only certain engineering branches – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/IT and allied fields. Marine Engineering is a specialized branch focused on ships and maritime systems. Since railway work involves rolling stock, signaling, electrical systems, and civil structures, Marine Engineering does not directly match the requirements.
That is why RRB JE notification does not list Marine Engineering as an eligible branch

If your Aadhaar photo doesn’t match your live capture photo on your JEE Main 2026 form, fix it during the correction window. The National Testing Agency lets you update things like personal details and photos at that time. If you leave the mismatch, you’ll probably run into trouble during verification at the exam center. So, make things easier for yourself—get your correct photo and Aadhaar details ready, and upload them as soon as the correction window opens. If the window’s not open yet, just sit tight and watch for the official announcement. Don’t fill out another form, or you’ll risk creating duplicate applications.
