    With an AIR of 11,92,746, getting BDS admission in Pune under SEBC + Defence 1 category is very unlikely, as cutoffs generally close around 2–3 lakh AIR for SEBC and much higher for Defence category.

    Even private colleges through management quota have cutoffs around 7–8 lakh AIR. You may need to explore lower-tier private dental colleges in Maharashtra or other states. Stay updated on SEBC quota legal decisions as it may affect counselling rounds.
