However, you may still have some options. You can explore private universities and deemed-to-be universities that offer admission under management or NRI quota. These include institutions like Lovely Professional University (LPU), Chandigarh University, Amity University, SRM University, Sharda University, and Graphic Era University, among others. Some of these universities accept students with high ranks, especially under paid seats or management quota.

Additionally, you may check state-level counselling processes, especially if you are a resident of states like Uttar Pradesh (AKTU counselling), Maharashtra (MHT CET counselling), Tamil Nadu (TNEA based on 12th marks), or Karnataka (through COMEDK). In these counselling rounds, some lower-ranked private colleges may still offer admission in CSE or related branches.

It’s also a good idea to consider allied branches such as Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science, which often have slightly lower cut-offs compared to core CSE. As a backup, you could also explore courses like BCA or Diploma in Computer Engineering, which still provide strong career opportunities in the tech field.
