So I would suggest that you buy some I.T and computer science books and start studying and gaining some software knowledge. Since you will have to take I.T or computer science In your engineering branch and then you will have to study in depth about all these things which will help you in becoming a software engineer. So, from pcm now you have to give time to these computer and programming books to pursue your goal in life if becoming a software engineer
