If you score around 165 to 175 in JEE Mains, then your expected rank would below 15000. Also, you percentile would be above 98.5 percentile.

With this rank and percentile, you can top government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs. You might not get top core branches in the NITs but you will surely get a seat. Also, you can get top core branches in the IIITs and GFTIs.

Please go for all the rounds of JOSAA counseling and also the CSAB spot round to further increase your chances of getting a better seat.  If you are from reservation category, then. You have even more chances. All the best.

From last year onwards NTA introduced the percentile system of evaluation in JEE Main. As we know that the percentile depends on a number of factors we cannot predict it precisely in advance. Nevertheless, According to past year data the percentile corresponding to 175 marks in JEE Main would be 99.02 and the percentile corresponding to 165 marka would be 98.
