Your category and domicile also affect chances. However, for General category, it seems difficult to get a seat in government MBBS college even in 3rd counselling with 272 marks and AIR 117300, especially through Karnataka Examinations Authority.

In recent years, Karnataka government MBBS seats usually close within AIR 20,000–40,000 for General category in later rounds. With AIR 117300, chances are very low. However, you may still try for Mop-up round, Stray vacancy round, Private medical colleges, Allied courses (BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Nursing).
