Hey,
GPAT-Graduate Pharmacy Admission Test is conducted by The National Testing Agency. The minimum eligibility criteria is to hold a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy which also also includes the lateral entry students. The candidates who are final year can also apply for the Test.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

As per the eligibility criteria, being third year BPharm students, you cannot appear for GPAT which obviously you already know. Now, coming to your question regarding experience part, well why not  wait for a year and then finally give the GPAT with full preparation and fulfilling eligibility criteria as well. Moreover, is there's any such need for the experience part.
