SRMU pharmacy students gain real-world pharma experience through:

  • Practical lab training in modern pharmaceutical labs.

  • Hospital and industry internships with partner companies and healthcare setups.

  • Industrial visits to drug manufacturing units and research centers.

  • Workshops, guest lectures, and seminars by pharma experts.

  • Projects and research work guided by experienced faculty.

i am in my fourth year of my B pharmacy and i recently i got a govt job , so how to complete my two semester which may not affect my service as well as carrier?

Prachi Kumari 3rd Nov, 2025

Hello,

You can complete your remaining two semesters without affecting your job by following these steps:

  1. Check if your college allows distance or part-time mode – Some universities let final-year students complete theory and practicals through flexible schedules or weekend classes.

  2. Talk to your college principal or head of department – Explain your situation and request permission to continue your studies while working. They may allow you to take leave only during exams or practical sessions.

  3. Use earned or study leave from your job – Most government jobs provide study leave for education. You can use short leaves during exams or lab work.

  4. Focus on online learning – If your college or university offers online classes or recorded lectures, attend them after work hours.

  5. Keep your employer informed – Let your office know that you’re completing your degree. They may support you if your work isn’t affected.

  6. Plan your time well – Make a study schedule for evenings or weekends to manage both job and studies.

If it feels too hard to continue now, you can also apply for a temporary break (academic gap) from college and complete the last two semesters later without losing your degree.

Hope it helps !

Sankalp Agrawal 2nd Nov, 2025

Hello,

Here are some good alternatives to Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy for PharmD (after 12th) with lower fees:

Annamalai University (TN) – Govt university, fees are around 46,000 per year, with good facilities.

Indira College of Pharmacy (Pune) – Fees is approx.2 L per year, PCI-approved, as well as decent hospital tie-ups.

Teer thanker Mahaveer University (UP) – Fees is around 1.8 L per year, good labs & training hospital.

Check PCI approval, hospital training, and total fees before taking admission in any of the university.

Aryan 3rd Nov, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

In most of the colleges/ universities the students of M Pharmacy are asked to have a white lab coat over the usual attire or clothes we wear. However, some colleges may even have complete different set of uniform.
