The percentile and percentage marks differ.

In percentage for when you say it means that you successfully succeed it how many people who wrote the exam. For example if your percentile is 66 then it tells you that you scored more than 66 percentage of the total number of students who attended the exam. We cannot say 66 percentile is equal to this mark because of the above reason.
