With a 75.25 score and general category from Haryana, getting a top government college is difficult. However, you may have chances in private colleges and some state universities, depending on the course and counselling process.

You can try for:

Private colleges under state universities in Haryana

Self-financed colleges

Some deemed or private universities

Colleges with lower cut-offs or later counselling rounds

Your final admission will depend on:

Course you are applying for

Entrance exam used (CUET / state exam)

Cut-off marks of that year

Availability of seats

It is better to participate in all counselling rounds and also apply to private universities to keep options open.

With a score of around 75.25 in CLAT and belonging to the General category with Haryana domicile, your chances in the top National Law Universities will be limited, but you can still have realistic options in mid- and lower-tier NLUs and a few good private law universities.

Based on recent admission trends, a score in the mid-70s usually does not secure seats in the top NLUs like NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, NLU Delhi, WBNUJS Kolkata, or NLU Jodhpur under the General category. These colleges typically close at much higher scores. However, domicile reservation can slightly improve your chances if Haryana domicile seats are available, though the benefit is usually modest.

With this score, you may have a chance in lower-ranked NLUs such as NLU Tripura, NLU Meghalaya, NLU Sikkim, NLU Nagaland, NLU Odisha (in later rounds), NLU Visakhapatnam, or NLU Raipur, depending on seat availability and counselling rounds. Cut-offs in these universities often fluctuate across rounds, so participating in counselling till the last round is important.

In addition to NLUs, you should also consider good private law universities that accept CLAT scores. Colleges like Symbiosis Law School, UPES Dehradun, ICFAI Law Schools, Alliance University, and Christ University (through their own process) can be strong alternatives, especially if you are focused on placements, internships, and overall exposure.

It is advisable to keep multiple options open, actively participate in counselling, and be flexible with location preferences to maximize your chances of admission. Keep tracking cut-off trends and counselling updates regularly, as seat movement can work in your favor in later rounds.

All the best.
