75%marks in class 12th for nit is only for pcm or overall percentage?

Hello,
You have to score an aggregate marks of 75%( overall ) for general category in class 12th board exams in order to be eligible for admission in NITs or IIITs through jee mains.For sc/st students it is 65% only.Or you have to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board.
