Correct Answer: 6

Solution : Required number of books in each stack = HCF of the given numbers of the three types of books.
Now, 84 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 7,
90 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 5
and 120 = 2 ×2 × 2 × 3 × 5
So, HCF of 84, 90 and 120 = (2 × 3) = 6
Hence, the correct answer is 6.
