Correct Answer: 32

Solution : Let the total work to be done = 1
Then, A's one day work= $\frac{\text{(total work)}}{ \text{(total days taken by A)}} =\frac{1}{48}$
B's one-day work = 150% of A's one-day work (because B is 50% more efficient)
$=\frac{1}{48}\times\frac{150}{100}=\frac{1}{32}$
Total time taken by B to do total work= $\frac{1}{\frac{1}{32}}=32$ days
Hence, the correct answer is 32.
