Given that,

The object distance is u=60cm

The focal length is f = 30cm

The image distance is given by,

1/v=1/f-1/u

1/v=-1/30-1/-60

1/v=-1/30+1/60

1/v=-2+1/60=-1/60

v=-60 cm

Hence, the image is formed in the concave mirror at a distance of 60cm.
