Look you will always have an advantage of studying in a government University, you will feel it after some years. And as you stated it is a A grade University its reputation must be good. 

And now a days companies are not bound to visit any college in particular and this is matter of fact that the placements are good in that private college. But market changes and the students too so there is chance that the government college could have better placements in upcoming years.

I would suggest you to go for government college. And only opt for private college if it is a nationally ranked college or it has givem exceptional results in last few years.
