a plane is flying at an angle of 60 with the horizontal if vertical components of it's velocity be 100 km/hr then find its actual velocity and horizontal components of velocity
Answer (1)
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well !!
According to your question,
v=100 km/hr
angle = 60
Horizontal component:-
Vx=V cos(angle)
= 100 cos60
= 100 *(1/2)
Horizontal Components of velocity is 50Km/hr .
Vertical Component:-
Vy=V sin(angle)
= 100 Sin60
= 100*(root3/2)
Vertical component of velocity is 50 root 3 Km/hr.
I hope you can understand.
Feel free to ask any query.
All the best.
