Correct Answer: INR 1,88,300

Solution : Let $x$ be the sales for the 6th month.
The average sales for the 6 months should be INR 1,88,300
⇒ $\frac{\text{Total Sales}}{\text{Number of months}}$ = Average sales
⇒ 148500 + 200000 + 164000 + 188600 + 240400 + $x$ = 188300 × 6
⇒ 941500 + $x$ = 1129800
⇒ $x$ = 129800 – 941500
⇒ $x$ = 188300
Hence, the correct answer is INR 1,88,300.
