Total volume is 20ml
milk is 40% that is 8ml and 12ml water
the ratio is 4:6 to make it 6:4
to make the rato 6:4 Milk should be 12x6/4=18ml
milk to be added = 18-8=10ml
new total mix is 18x100/60=30ml
Question : A 40-litre mixture of milk and water contains milk and water in the ratio of 7 : 3. How many litres of water should be added to the mixture so that the resulting mixture has 60% water in it?
