Hello,

If you asking regarding the language in which IIT JAM is held, then it's only held in English.

There are seven objective-type test papers in IIT JAM: Chemistry (CY), Physics (PH), Mathematics (MA), Geology (GG), Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Biotechnology (BT).

The entire paper will be divided into three sections in which Section A will contain 30 questions, Section B will contain 10 Questions and Section C will contain 20 questions.

Negative marking is applicable only for section A.

As for the negative marking, for each wrong answer in the 1 mark question, 1/3 marks will be deducted and for 2 marks questions, 2/3 marks will be deducted.

No marks will be deducted for un-attempted questions.

Each paper will have 60 questions for a total of 100 marks.
