NBARD is National Bank For Agricultural And Rural Development. It is a bank setup by the government of india for the development of rural areas and agriculture over there.

The Grade A category contains jobs like after getting selected you'll be under training period for 2 years after that you'll be appointed as assistant manager, policy issuing, and if there is no work alloted for you you need to do multitaskings . You shouls have hold with activities in rural areas, you may also get posted and transferred anywhere in India.

The Grade B jobs, after your selection you'll be in training period fo 2 years same as grade a jobs after that you'll be appointed as grade b manager in NABARD Banks. You have to do jobs ike monitoring the accounts, developing and approving loans, maintaining relationships with customer, projects completion.

The job path of NABARD officers is Assistant Manager to Manager to Assistant general manager and then General Manager to Chief General Manager to Executive Director and then finally Director.

Starting pay for the Grade A jobs are around 28-30K with some allowances and for the Grade B jobs is 35-40K withe some other allowances.

At present, initial monthly gross emoluments stand at approximately Rs.61,000/- p.m.

Perks and Allowances of NABARD Grade A Officer

• Bank’s accommodation subject to availability.
• Reimbursement of expenses for maintenance of the vehicle for official purpose, newspaper, internet, telephone charges, book grant, allowance for the furnishing of residence, etc. as per eligibility.
• Free dispensary facility besides reimbursement of medical expenses for OPD treatment/ hospitalization as per eligibility.
• Interest-free festival advance, Leave Travel Concession (once in two years for self, spouse and eligible dependents).
