Hello,

With 540 Marks your overall percentile is 97.72 - 98.22 and expected rank will be 29010 - 40160, you haven't mentioned your domicile, this is essential because cut-off varies among state, for example with 540 marks you can secure a GMC seat in West Bengal belonging to General Category but the same won't happen in states like Rajasthan where last year cut-off for UR was 580 marks, and UP where cut-off was 575 marks, you can check out state wise cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off for more details regarding this. This is purely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjective to change every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.You can use our NEET College Predictor to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges;https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Uttar Pradesh according to your profile.

See it is little bit difficult to suggest that in which GMC you will get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon numerous factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But if we check out previous years NEET cut-off trends in UP then there are almost no chances for you to get seat in any of the GMCs, the reason being is last year the lowest cut-off marks was 575 for Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich under Home State quota for General category. But yes you can get government seat in some private colleges.

You can check the previous years cut-offs through the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
