Yes, you are eligible. Masters in  Mass Communication and Journalism is a 2-year course pursued after the successful completion of the graduation (any stream) of education from a recognized educational institute or university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

These days internet has also emerged as a key player in this sector. Some lucrative job opportunities are associated with these forms of media. Radio channels TV channels, and online portals are the best places where one may find a job.Though print media forms like Newspapers and magazines have been overtaken by the electronic media, candidates still do enjoy decent consumption. This is safe to say that mass communication graduates may find a job at print media sector too mostly newspapers and magazines.
Since mass communication is made up of parts like journalism, reporting, and mass media etc. most are numerous job profiles available within this field. Some job that one lands depends upon one’s specialization to an extent.

The course focuses on ideas and outlets of mass communication such as media production, cultural issues, communication theories, regulations and media techniques stream.

The course generally provides teaching and training regarding reporting, writing, editing, photographing etc. Students can opt. for specializations in various fields of journalism such as Sports Journalism, Science Journalism, Environment Journalism, Fashion Journalism, Film Making, Advertising, Corporate communications, Advertising Agencies, Books, and Novels, All India Radio, Photography Companies, Broadcasting Corporations, Press Information Bureau, Radio Telecasting Companies, TV Channels, Websites etc.
