Yes, NIOS is a valid and recognized board, you can appear for BSc Nursing exam if you fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid out by Indian Nursing Council which is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english (core/elective) subjects securing 45% aggregate, the minimum age is 17 years as on 31s december of the appearing year.
