SC and ST students get full tuition fee waiver under state scholarship scheme in Madhya Pradesh. This means in government medical college they pay only caution deposit and minimal college charges, tuition is zero. In private medical colleges initial admission fee may be collected but state scholarship (post matric or SC/ST scheme) reimburses full academic fee later. If family income under limit then private college fee mostly covered for SC students.

In private colleges without scholarship students must pay high MBBS fee ranging from around eight lakh to twelve lakh per year. But SC category student with scholarship gets tuition fee refund later, only hostel mess and other non academic charges may remain. For counselling registration SC pay lower fee like eight hundred rupees. SC scholarship process requires uploading caste certificate domicile and income certificate.
