Hello Aspirant,

Both core CSE and CSE with any specialization are good options, totally depends on your taste. Both has wide job prospects and are highly demanded in the industry.

Now, to be specific, core CSE covers almost all that you need to know to getting started with the real world. While some students during their engineering years find different niche where they're inclined to and try to opt for similar job roles, others who aren't quite sure of their calling keeps their options open and enter into any industry or may go for higher studies.

On the other hand, if you opt for CSE with specialization, you become domain focused and if in future you wish to shift your domain, it becomes very difficult.

Therefore, it is not recommended to choose any specialization during your B.Tech UNLESS you're really very sure about what you want to pursue going forward in life.
