I would like to inform you that aerospace engg are available in around 6 IIT's but the most famous IIT's for aero space engg are IIT Kharagpur and IIT BOmbay.

By far IIT kharagpur and IIT Bombay are considered the best aeronautics engineering colleges according to multiple surveys. Then ofcourse are iit Kanpur and IIT Madras. To be true prospect of aeronautics and aerospace in India is pretty low if you are not in one of the above mentioned institution and even if one manages to get through with jee and get into these institution only the top rung of students get good jobs.
