KVPY is an exam for those who are interested in research and wish to pursue a career in the basic sciences. It provides admission to Undergraduate Science Courses of B.Sc. in IISC , IISER, IIST, ISI, IIIT Hyderabad and CVCE with Fellowship during basic science Studies.

According to the fellowship, you are eligible for a stipend of 5000 per month, along with an annual contingency grant of 20000, for the first three years in Graduation that is B.Sc/ B.Stat/ B.S./ B.Maths/ Integrated M.S./M.Sc.  In the last two years, it's increased to a stipend of 7000 per month, and a grant of 28000 annually. In addition, you will be provided with ID Cards to access several national laboratories and libraries.
