BEd is required only at schools, nowadays government as well as private schools have made it mandatory, if you've completed BEd along with MSc, you can taught children till 12th Standard.

In college, BEd is not compulsory, if you want to teach in college, consider applying for NET or SET, SET is the state level exam conducted in various states, and NET is the national level exam. You can give these exams in your final year of MSc as well.
