To become a scientist you must be Graduate with Science background.  Since you have completed your graduation, there is a common exam i.e. GATE, through this exam you can Admission into country's top Institutes like IITs and NITs and choose to pursue a M.tech or M.Sc program. After the completion of your Master's program you can go for a PHd too. Here's some basic jobs as a scientist you can get-
