To become a scientist you'll need a good honours degree, usually first class or upper second, in a science subject related to your area of interest. Most research scientists then go on to study for a postgraduate qualification like a PhD.
Select your bachelor's degree keeping in mind the assorted options like Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Astronomy, Geology, Social Sciences and more. You can pursue a degree like B. Tech, B.Sc, B. Pharma etc.
