See there are very less universities which allow you to join for MSC Agriculture is you are a non agricultural student ie from BSC BOTANY. Assam Agricultural University Jorhat of lately has started incorporating non Agriculture background students in MSc courses specially in Agricultural Biotechnology department. For that you need to appear for an entrance test followed by an interview. Once you get enrolled you have to go through some basic courses in pure Agriculture called Bridge courses alongwith your normal courses in order to be at par with the Agriculture background students since they have spent four years in graduation instead of three as in case of yours.

Thankyou.
