As per your requirement, i would say that M.Tech. in Food Technology is a 2- year full- time postgraduate course divided into 4 semesters. As an academic discipline, Food Science and Technology is an offshoot of the discipline of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, and is essentially concerned with the technical aspects of food.

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, students aspiring to pursue the course need to have completed B. E./B. Tech. in Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology and Management/ Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Engineering/ Dairy Engineering/ Dairy Technology/ Agricultural & Food Engineering/ Dairy and Food Engineering, from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate score of 45 - 50%.

Different collegr have different critera for admission related exams so pattern and cut off are different.
