Hello aspirant

If you take Diploma before engineering you will perform poorly in Mathematics. In engineering every stream deals with mathematics M1,M2 and M3 subjects. As Diploma  is 3 years course you will directly enter into 2nd year of btech you have to face atleast one semester with mathematics subject as there is lack of practice you will struggle to pass the subject.
If you take electrical stream then even core subjects has a partial link with Mathematics while solving the derivations. On the other hand there are even advantages of choosing diploma before engineering as you will be in a better position in terms of knowledge and practical exposure to the subjects as compared to the intermediate students.
When it comes to opportunities diploma holder has a limited options compared to BTech professional students. So its better to add techinal certificate after your diploma.
