Usually, the salary package for M.Sc. students depends on the institute you are enrolled in, its track record in terms of top scorers, its reputation, etc.  It also depends especially on your CV, more preference will be given in reputed companies if you have done certain number of internships and have good work experience.

Companies in the field of automobiles, animation, advertising, consultancy, academia, designing, etc. generally recruit M.Sc. IT students. The highest packages are around 10 lakhs per annum.
