If you are asking a question as to : " Which is the best course to study after doing diploma in metallurgical engineering?."

OPTION - 1:

You can write ECET- FDH (Engineering Common Entrance Test - For Diploma Holders) exam , get qualified & join for a 3 year B.tech program in Metallurgical Engineering.

OPTION - 2 :

Alternately , if you are employed , you can appear for AMIIM (Associated Membership of Indian Institute of Metals) exam. If you pass AMIIM , it is considered as equivalent to B.Tech in Met.Engg. & this degree is recognised by even UPSC.

OPTION - 3 :

As a third option , you can write AMIE (Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers, Kolkata) exam & qualify. On passing this exam , you are considered to have been qualified as a Metallurgical Engineer. The AMIE qualification is considered as equivalent to B.Tech in Met.Engg by UPSC.

Thank you :)
