Dear aspirant


After qualifying MSc. in mathematics you can give GATE examination to pursue phd from reputed IITs or NITs. You might get an offer from PSUs but it is much less likely since you are from mathematics background
You should rather focus on getting admission as a research fellow in some reputed institution like IITs through GATE.
