Hello Ayan!

After scoring 220 marks in NEET UG you can go for both the options as my opinion you should take Drop and also go for BDS. As you belong to general category then the chances of getting  addmission in BDS course is less. Take drop and prepare hard for it and score good marks in your Neet ug examination.

My best wishes with you!

Hi apirant!
If you are actually interested in pursuing MBBS then do not go for Bds as a second choice due to low scores. The future job prospects of both the courses are different and mbbs is better in most criterias unless you are someone who is actually interested in dentistry. Then you can go ahead and choose bds and study the course.
Otherwise you can take a drop or partial drop if you can manage and dont want to risk a year by taking a complete drop.
But make sure to consult your parents and know your priorities before taking any decision. Also be prepared to study with consistency and invest time and hardwork along with smartwork under proper guidance and with the goal of getting a mbbs gov seat in the next attempt you give neet.
Goodluck!
