Once you clear the written test, you need to do extremely well in the SSB interview which is spread across 5 days where one needs to go through an Intelligence Test and Personality Test. If you clear the SSB interview the next big hurdle is to clear the medical test. If you clear the medical test eligibility criteria completely you will get an option of your choice.

After getting through the SSB in NDA, you are supposed to spend your next 3 years in national defence academy, where you will be pursuing BSC in branches they offer.



After 3 years of training, students are divided according to their priorities and sent to there respective forces. For example student who set thier priority as Army are sent IMA Dehradun. For Airforce you will be sent to airforce academy, Hyderabad. They will teach you flying there. This is a 2 year of training.

After this you are recruited as officer.
