Once the NDA exam is given succesfully, SSB board evaluates intelligence, personality, compatibility and potential of prospective candidates for Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy.
All the candidates will be put to stage-one test on first day of reporting at Selection Centres/Air Force Selection Boards/Naval Selection Boards. Only those candidates who qualify at stage one will be admitted to the second stage/remaining tests. The stage 2 of SSB continues for 4 to 5 days followed by medical test of 3 to 4 days.
NDA Cutoff: The total marks allotted for SSB is 900. The overall cut off score of NDA is calculated out of a total of 1800. Keeping the cutoff trend in previous years, aim at scoring above 320-340 to clear the cutoff (rough prediction). Though it can vary year to year.
