342 marks in NEET 2025 under General Category (All India Quota) makes it very tough for a government BAMS seat. Usually, government BAMS colleges close above 420–450 marks for General, depending on the state. With 342, your chances are only in private BAMS colleges or deemed universities, not in government through AIQ. State quota cut-offs vary, but for General, it’s still unlikely below 380–400.

With 342 marks in General category, chances for government BAMS colleges are quite slim because cut-offs usually stay above 400+ in most states. However, you may still find opportunities in some states with lower cut-offs like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (private but government quota seats), or Karnataka under AYUSH counselling.

Hello,

With 342 marks in NEET (General category, All India quota) , chances of getting a government BAMS seat are very low .

Usually, government BAMS colleges under All India Quota close at a much higher score (around 450+ for General). With 342, you may get only private BAMS colleges or management quota seats , not government.

Hope it helps !
