The total marks for class 9  is 400 marks comprising of the subjects Mathematics, English,  Intelligence, General Science and Social Studies.  Candidates who qualify in the exam will be shortlisted for medical exam. Candidates who clear both written test and medical exam will be called for further admission process where the parents has to submit the required documents. Sainik school is a residential educational institute. Candidates get admission in class 6 and class 9 based on merit in All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted by Sainik School Society. The entrance exam is conducted once in a year. The exam fee is Rs 400 for general category candidates and ward of defence personnel and Rs 250 for SC/ST candidates. The exam is conducted in offline mode. The total marks for class 9  is 400 marks comprising of the subjects Mathematics, English,  Intelligence, General Science and Social Studies. Medium of exam paper is English and there are two papers, paper 1 duration is 2.5 hours and the marks are 350, paper 2 is for 30 mins and the marks are 50. Candidates who qualify in the exam will be shortlisted for medical exam.
