It completely depends upon you if you understands the concept and study at your own at your place than go for the self study and if you are not that clear with the concepts and need the help of the teacher to clear your concept than go for the couching. But it is not compulsory that for scoring good you'll need couching that's not true even if you study at your own means if you can do self study than also you can also score quite well. So, at last i just wanna say its completely your choice.
