mjaisinghani62 18th Jan, 2024

Hello aspirant

You can inform them now regarding your health issues giving reason for not attending the class. You can send apologize mail .

You can proceed with your class or self study also  can be done.

But make sure you won't skip tests , because regular tests are mandatory to strengthen your knowledge about subject . It brings confidence in You.  Online mock tests are available.

One of the biggest benefit of self study is that you will save your so much time.

Now a days online classes are also being held. They charge very less.

If you want you may join the following page for neet 2024 preparations.

should I take unacademy or byjus or youtube self study for gate cs exam 2024 . pls elaborate

Sanskar Sharma 16th Aug, 2022

Hello Student,

Yes, you can definately take unacademy or byjus for your GATE 2024 preparation because these are the best platforms for preparation of the GATE.

But at Byjus and unacademy you have to pay for the Preparation kit but that is worth for that preparation.

But if you want free Video lectures for GATE preparation you can check out the below Youtube Channel for the Self Study of the GATE preparation because according to my opinion the channels are best for GATE preparation.

  1. Knowledge Gate
  2. Gajendra Purohit
  3. Gate Smashers

I hope you issue is resolved

I have cracked jee mains with self study only but i am nervous for adv should I join coaching for adv only?

Sayan 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

If you are committed to succeed, self-study is highly important and will benefit you throughout your life. It is also adequate for the IIT JEE. And for self-study, you'll need some resources. I'd advise using well-known books like those by HC Verma and others.

In this sense, video lectures are also quite beneficial. If you want to study for the JEE  on your own, video lectures have several benefits. Many colleges provide video lectures, and they will support you all the way through.

  • They are easy to transport.
  • You may see them whenever and anywhere you choose.
  • If you already know anything, you may view only the topics you want to see, which will save you a lot of time.
  • You'll receive a platform where you may submit any questions or doubts you may have. Any issue or query is fair game for debate.
  • To monitor your progress, mock tests are given at regular intervals. Thus, you can always assess your performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Teachers can be contacted for any assistance.
  • Lessons on video are more reasonably priced and do not cost as much. However, some are pricey. But I won't argue that all are reasonably priced.

Self-study is like a really nice thing to do if you are at it. In addition to teaching you how to study, it will also educate you how to manage your time, create a timetable, keep yourself calm, and keep everything moving. You'll have the opportunity to learn a lot on your own. Just keep trying and be persistent.

Best Wishes for JEE Advance.

are s.l Arora for physics and k c shinha for maths good for jee mains and advance preparation or if not then which books are best for jee mains and advance preparation for physics, chemistry and maths separately for self study students??????

anushkasrivastava073 6th Aug, 2022

Hello Aditya,

Selection of book depends from person to person. But, one thing that every aspirant will agree with, is, practice is the most important thing for JEE. Pick up a book and stick to it until you become thorough with it. The first thing that you should do is arrange the coaching material(if you're not enrolled in a coaching institute) of any reputed institute and complete that. This is a compulsory thing which will be advantageous for your preparation. Apart from that you can follow these books mentioned below,

MATHS:

  1. Cengage/ KC Sinha
  2. S L Loney for Coordinate

PHYSICS:

  1. HC Verma
  2. DC Pandey
  3. SL Arora
  4. Irodov

CHEMISTRY:

  1. P Bahadur for Physical
  2. OP Tondon for Inorganic
  3. MS Chouhan for Organic

Most important for chemistry- NCERT

In the last months of preparation solve Arihant 40 years PYQ.

Remember, you won't be able to solve too many books so invest your money only on those which you think is the best one for you. Stick to one and practice a lot.

All the best.

-----------------------)  Make short notes:- You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas. These short notes will be a great revision tool for your examination.

-----------------------) Set  goals :- set daily  like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to  cover these chapters this week and  solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.

-----------------------) Follow a routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and religiously follow it and try to give at least around 8 hours to study each day in your routine.

-) PHYSICS is the  toughest part for most of the aspirants  as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with , so keep at least 3 hours each day for Physics.
