Hi dear candidate,

For B.Tech in CSE or AI/ML you need to score at least 50% aggregate marks in your 12th class with PCM subjects. Then you will have to give an entrance exam like JEE and it's rank would decide you a college. You may also give state level exams like MHT CET, EAPCET etc. but JEE is nation wide accepted, so your competitors are from all over India.

The CSE and AI/ML are one of the most competitive branches in B.Tech so you will need rank under 10,000 for CSE in top colleges of IIT.

Rank below 30,000 for NITs and rank more than that can get you decent private colleges. Remember your category also plays a crucial role in deciding your admission.
