As CSE is considered as a non-core branch there are not so many job oppurtunities for the CSE branch students in the government sector and whatever job oppurtunities are there the competition is very fierce. However you can go for the UPSC exams or you can fill the government exam forms through some other branch such as ECE to get a government job. Hope this helps.
