BUT at the moment Amrita is standing on the top in NO.1 PRIVATE UNIVERSITY in INDIA
In terms of fees Amrita is costly while Sastra is cheap.

Really ur smart to ask questions like this both amrita ans sastra are universities with equal reputations campus.Sastra is a good when you scored good in JEE and in your higher secondary.

Amrita is good when scored less in jee and cleared AIEE.Sastra is good when you donot want to spend much on studies.Amrita is good when you think environment and infrastructure is imporatant.

According to the placements both are really good at placements. according to the ranking Amrita is better compared to sastra.

Both of these colleges are decent universities for btech engineering graduation course. Sastra University admission is based on JEE mains and boards score as well and it has got a great campus and education facilities. But at the same time, fees in Sastra University are pretty higher. Amrita university on the other hand has decent placement and internship opportunities and also provides great learning facilities.
