Admission to undergraduate Engineering courses in Aligarh Muslim University is done based on merit in AMUEEE which conducted by the University itself. A candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to be eligible to get admission. It does not accept JEE Main score.

the basic eligibility criteria to get admission for the course bachelor of technology in aligarh muslim university is candidate must have completed their 10+2 from recognized board with science stream subjects having physics, chemistry and mathematics and must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in their 10+2 and admission in aligarh muslim university to B.tech programme is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by AMU that is AMUEEE .

Jee mains percentile score are considered in the university. You need to have a decent score at jee Mains apart from jee mains the university has its own admission process too apart from jee Mai s but jee mains is also considered.
