The angle between equi-potential surface and lines of force  is always 90 degree.

EXPLANATION

The angle between equi-potential surface and lines of force  is always 90 degree because when the electric potential becomes constant,the negative potential gradient  becomes zero, and thus it  makes it necessary for the Electric field to be always normal with surface
