Any chances of getting bsc zoology hnrs in Bethune college, kolkata. If I have got 80% in PCB along with English in higher secondary examination??

Hello aspirants,

Yes, you can get through it. The cut-off might reach to this level and then you will be eligible. 36 seats are there in zoology department in Bethune college.so, you can apply for this.

Do west bengal board get more preference than any other board during admission ( though I'm a west bengal board's student)??

No,not like that your aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks of the BEST FOUR subjects (at least 100 marks paper). Marks in compulsory Environmental Education / Studies shall not be taken into account for calculation of Aggregate marks.
Admission will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit. Merit list will be prepared based on INDEX MARK for all categories of students.
