I personally know a person who after B.Sc. in Chemistry from Calcutta University, pursued Associate Degree in Metallurgy (Indian Institute of Metals), equivalent to A.M.I.E by Institution of Engineers. He after AMIE, worked as an Assistant Engineer with Tata Steel, followed by a M.Tech/PG Diploma in Steel Technology from IIT Kharagpur. Currently he is pursuing a Three Year Part Time MBA (PGDBM) from XLRI Jamshedpur, besides working as a Sr. Manager at Tata Steel.
